The Emoluments Clause prohibits individuals holding a public office under the federal government from accepting gifts, emoluments, offices, or titles from foreign governments or monarchs without the explicit consent of Congress.

Trump’s new budget bill includes $880 billion in cuts to Medicaid to help cover the cost of $4.5 trillion in tax breaks for wealthier Americans.
To be eligible for Medicaid, the plan would include new requirements of at least 80 hours per month of work, education, or service for able-bodied adults without dependents. People would also have to verify their eligibility for the program twice a year, rather than just once.
Approximately 7.2 million Americans aged 65 and older are enrolled in the Medicaid program.
Trump’s executive order targeting prescription drugs will only include drugs for Medicare Part B.
