I honestly don’t mind paying my taxes. And it’s nice to know that I am not alone. CNN’s Paul Begala wrote a great piece today – click here to see why he calls April 15th Patriot’s Day.

We live in the greatest country in the world. We have roads, schools, public services, a justice system that functions and a post office that works despite what you think. I’ve toured war torn Bosnia and Croatia. I’ve traveled through Europe and Mexico. All wonderful places to visit but the only place I would ever choose to live is the United States of America. We still have more of everything that is good in this country than anywhere else in the world. And none of it comes free. It all has to be paid for. And the people who run it and the people who protect us and our things must be paid and taken care of as well. I am not at a tea party today. I am at home, happy in the thought that I still live in the greatest place in the world and, that there are no pirates in the lake in my backyard.
