Rock to the Top by Dayna Steele
“Dayna has spent years learning and developing profitable business practices that she’s just giving away in this book.”
Gene Simmons, KISS Rock God and Entreprenuer
Rock to the Top: What I Learned about Success from the World’s Greatest Rock Stars, with a foreword by Gene Simmons of KISS, is the first business book from successful entrepreneur and former rock radio personality Dayna Steele. Steele takes her readers on an entertaining backstage tour into her adventures with some of the most successful rock stars in the world, sharing her savvy business advice and lessons learned along the way. An added bonus to the stories and business tips, readers will also find her great personal collection of photos featuring The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Van Halen, Stevie Ray Vaughan and more.
“Gene Simmons, relentless marketer and TV personality, contributes the book’s foreword and he was either paid a fortune to do so or recognizes and respects the author’s expertise. My money is on the latter.”
Richard Pachter, Miami Herald “Business Can Rock”
Blog Business World says “the power of the book is its motivational quality. Dayna Steele is
passionate about her career, and that love of life sparkles on every page. Fans of the rock bands, whose stories are included in the book, will enjoy the personal superstar vignettes; each one containing some valuable business lessons.”
Ken Hoffman of the Houston Chronicle says Rock to the Top is “part self-help, but mostly just a ton of fun stories about superstars like Mick Jagger, Sting, Van Halen, David Crosby, Aerosmith …”
“Rock stars, like business stars, are products of passion, confidence, creativity, quality performance, organization, personal branding, networking, teamwork and giving credit to others. Author Dayna Steele tells us how to shape a career or build a successful business by studying celebrity rock entrepreneurs.” — Jim Pawlak / The Dallas Morning News
“Dayna Steele is smart and funny and on the cutting edge. She’s learned a lot from the business of rock, and her observations can rock your business.”
Paul Begala, CNN Correspondent and former White House official

Thanks for the nice note. Still trying to find the time to write more!
The article is usefull for me. I’ll be coming back to your blog.
Rock To The Top is about having a passion for what you do, doing it well and having fun while doing it. Dayna uses her experiences in the music industry to illustrate business best practices in chapters such as Confidence, Quality, Branding, and Networking with summaries at the end of each one. This book is as great to read for its business advice as it is for the stories of performers and industry professionals from KISS to Aerosmith to Springsteen. Ted Nugent once said, “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth overdoing.” Rock To The Top illustrates that it’s not just about doing what it takes to get by, but about putting your best effort in and going above the expectations.
I loved this book!
