Social media took a lot of people by surprise as late as a week ago when Oprah learned to Twitter on her show. Everywhere I go, more and more individuals and companies are asking me to explain social media (specifically Twitter and Facebook), show them how to set up an account and then discuss ways to best utilize any or all of the platforms.

April 2009
While I watch and listen to all the yelling, posturing, pontificating, etc., I can only think one thing. Sounds like my kids when they start to protest and whine “It’s not my fault. I didn’t do it. Why do I have to help?”
I honestly don’t mind paying my taxes. And it’s nice to know that I am not alone. CNN’s Paul Begala wrote a great piece today – click here to see why he calls April 15th Patriot’s Day.
“Lunch with the Governor on Tuesday?” My first thought was my friend Kristi had accidently sent me an email, one obviously intended for someone else.
These aren’t “trends.” This is how we were all raised or should have been raised by our parents. And it’s how we should be living our lives and running our businesses each and every day.
